Emma Sidlow

Emma is a highly motivated and skilled individual, possessing excellent Learning & Development and Management experience within both private and public sector environments. Emma’s career started in Learning and Development in the UK within the Insurance Industry sector having graduated in the field of Psychology. Emma then moved into the Local Government and Healthcare sector, where she led and managed a team whom were training and supporting individuals back into employment. Following on from this Emma qualified as a Learning and Development professional with CIPD and worked at Senior level within a large Educational Services provider in the UK prior to moving to Abu Dhabi in 2014.

Having worked as a Learning and Development professional for many years Emma has experience training and developing others within the areas of Change and Transition, Stress Awareness, Time Management, Coaching skills, Performance Conversations for Managers, Myers Briggs for team days, Leadership and Management Development programmes, Performance Appraisals and Organisational Change. Emma also has a depth of experience in professional coaching in both one to one and group coaching (Action Learning Sets) at all levels across a corporate environment from middle managers to executive directors.

Academically Emma is Qualified in Myers Briggs Personality Traits Inventory (MBTI), Levels A & B (Intermediate) in the use of Assessing Personality in Organisations (Talent Q) Psychometric with the British Psychological Society (BPS), Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) Learning and Development Level 7, BACP accredited Diploma in Counselling, EMCC accredited Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring and an honours degree in Psychology. Alongside these qualifications Emma’s 15+ years in the Psychology field which has contributed to her integrative approach as a both a Learning and development professional and Coach.

Since moving to Abu Dhabi in 2014 Emma has been developing individuals within the Law, Media and Education sectors. Emma holds experience and particular interest in supporting the learner and coaching them and their organisations in order to change organisational behaviour. As a professional trainer and coach, Emma uses her strong interpersonal skills to develop individuals and organisation’s performance at personal, relational and business level. Emma has an integrative approach to training and coaching which focuses on the impact of behaviour on the individual and organisational environment and business results. Emma believes that by creating opportunities to put learning into action and exploring mindsets, this will develop individual learning, capability and ultimately strengthen organisational performance.
