COURSE AIMS

Planning, Organising and Time Management. Huge business benefits can be gained from taking the time to review, refine and refocus the current approach to business planning, organisation and implementation. Preparation and proactivity are key. This workshop offers you and your team measurable and significant business benefits.

All activities in the workplace involve some form of planning, organising and scheduling to be cost-effective in terms of time, money and resources. When we think of planning, it could involve the next 10 minutes to the next 10 years. The concepts and principles do not change regardless of the time-frame set. Planning also involves having contingency plans, identifying alternatives in case things go wrong and to have the confidence that the client’s needs and demands will be met.

When we are organising, the only constant thing is change. We adapt our initial plans to suit internal and external change and pressures. The organising section of the course is very ‘hands on’; where the planning meets reality and becomes a work in progress.

Delegates will set specific tasks that require them to relate to the concepts introduced, prepare long-range and short-term goals, and develop measurable objectives to support goal attainment; differentiate between urgent, important, and non-urgent action items and engage in pro-active planning.
