COURSE AIMS

Critical thinking helps you step back, examine your thought processes and make them more effective by asking the right questions, challenging assumptions and being able to see others’ viewpoints with clarity. Successful law firms look for people who are good problem solvers, with the ability to think critically and not take everything at ‘face value’. Some subject-matter expertise is required, however it is now preferable to have legal professionals whose critical thinking skills are self-guided and self-disciplined, attempting to reason at the highest level of quality in a fair-minded way.

This workshop will get the participants to become habitually inquisitive, trustful of reason, open-minded, flexible, fair-minded in evaluation, honest in facing personal biases and prudent in making judgments.
