Andrea Parry
Management Trainer and Consultant

Andrea originates from the UK and has been in the UAE for 20 years with a proven record of delivering successful training courses and teambuilding events. During her 15-year career with the award-winning Emirates Airlines, Andrea worked for 12 years in a supervisory role where she led and consistently inspired a multi-national crew to deliver world-class service across three cabins. One of her main roles was to train the entire spectrum of cabin service procedures for Boeing and Airbus aircrafts. Andrea developed training plans and presentations to meet the learning needs of trainees of all ages, nationalities, cultures, and backgrounds. This really contributed to Andrea’s ability to ‘connect’ with the audience and help her to succeed in her professional career today.

Throughout Andrea’s tenure, she was continuously involved in designing, developing and delivering of a number of courses, ranging from staff orientation, customer care, succession planning of team members, designing and facilitating teambuilding events, advising and coaching managers on training and development to managing shifts, dealing with labour issues, conducting appraisals, recruitment and performance management. She was responsible for managing and supervising a team of over 50; handling issues both in-flight and outstation as well as monitoring and providing written and verbal feedback related to crew performance. This role taught Andrea to be confident and comfortable working with a wide cross section of people from construction workers to royalty, in a professional and diplomatic manner.

In the consultancy and training arena, clients have found Andrea to be articulate, organised and a positive person, who is adept at combining workshop sessions with practical training; placing key learnings into real world scenarios to aid comprehension and recall. In this manner she has successfully planned and delivered workshops in Self Development, Communication, Teambuilding, Situational Awareness, Outstation Safety, Problem Solving, Conflict Resolution, Supervisory Management Skills, Decision Making, Office Management and Procedures along with a variety of writing workshops to name a few. Her consultancy projects have included Executive Coaching, HR, and Mystery Shoppers.
